In my opinion, the comic wouldn't have been the same without Twilight in that pose. And, by the way, the link to the PSD file links to a page with that PNG image and this message: An error occurred while displaying this deviation: "No data for that deviationid". I know it's because the URL; if it has a /#/ in it, it wouldn't load properly.
You should try it, go bet a wacom tablet bamboo fun the cheapest one. Get some references and just do it. You'll also learn that with a tablet it's incredibly easy vectoring. Or if you know that already.
